KARACHI: According to meteorologist Owais Haider, light to heavy showers could hit Karachi between Tuesday and Thursday, as reported by Geo News on Sunday.
The weather specialist said that Monday will likely bring rain to the megalopolis’s suburbs in their weekly forecast for the port city.
He cautioned that the impending rainstorm might be the strongest of the monsoon season, increasing the risk of urban floods.
Haider also mentioned the possibility of rain on Friday in many districts of Karachi.
On the other hand, Karachi’s weather is predicted to stay hot and muggy for the next 24 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
