At the Khanewal Press Club, there was a nonviolent demonstration in favor of constitutional reforms, specifically the creation of a Pakistani Constitutional Court. Students, social workers, National Students Front members, and Lawyers Forum officials also participated in the demonstration.
Many facets of society actively participated in the rally, which was led by young student activist Mubashar Manzoor. Young people full of energy, lawyers, and religious leaders spoke to the group, and they all agreed that a Constitutional Court should be established right away.
Concerned about Pakistan’s 130th-placed judicial system in the world, participants emphasized the need to improve the judiciary’s caliber. They called on the Supreme Court to concentrate more on serving the public interest and emphasized the significance of creating a Federal Constitutional Court.
