LAHORE: According to the prime minister’s political affairs adviser, Rana Sanaullah, the recently enacted constitutional amendment has closed the back door to power.
He stated, “After the [26th] constitutional amendment, Pakistan will not be harmed by these sneaky ways,” according to The News on Sunday. He was speaking to a press conference in Lahore following a meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
According to the lawmaker, the nation has avoided an economic crisis because of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s unwavering leadership.
With the help of supporters like the PPP, the Shehbaz Sharif-led administration changed the procedure for choosing the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) by introducing contentious legislation in both the lower and upper houses of parliament.
