The Alhamra Arts Center in the Mall hosted a book launch ceremony for Sofia Bedar’s new collection of short stories, “Rangrez,” which is a collection of her best-known works.
The event was attended by notable authors and literary leaders, such as Razi Ahmad, the chairman of the Alhamra Art Council, who congratulated Sofia Baidar on the publication of her latest piece.
Storyteller Sofia Baidar expressed gratitude to Executive Director Sarah Rashid and Chairman Razi Ahmad for their assistance.
Alhamra’s vital efforts were remembered with fondness by renowned poet Abbas Tabish. Other speakers, including Dr. Waheed Rehman Khan, Salma Awan, Dr. Najeeb Jamal, Hamida Shaheen, Bilqis Riaz, Bushra Ijaz, Neelam Ahmed Bashir, Amir Faraz, Shehzad Nayar, and Amina Mufti, commended Sophia Bedar’s work and conveyed their love for it. Dr. Tahira Iqbal served as the event’s facilitator.
