The Pakistani national Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is serving an 86-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center, Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, for allegedly attempting “murder” and other charges. The Aafia Movement has scheduled a protest in response to her continued detention.
In response, the district administration has put strong security measures in place, containerizing several routes and blocking off the red zone in order to stop the demonstration from happening.
The district administration emphasized that no formal authorization has been granted for the rally and declared that no protests will be allowed in the red zone.
To keep everything under control and avoid any disturbances in the region, the authorities are on high alert.
