The actress and producer recently disclosed that the prequel series was inspired by Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of Wednesday Adams in the Netflix series Wednesday.
Reese stated on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Wednesday gave her the inspiration to delve into her famous character Elle Woods’ high school years.
“It was sort of this idea,” she added. You know, I thought, ‘Oh!’ when I saw that Wednesday Addams show.
