The star of Interstellar, Matthew McConaughey, has thought about the movie’s enduring influence.
The 55-year-old star talked about Interstellar and how, more than a decade after its debut, it has grown “more important to people” at the SXSW premiere of his new film, The Rivals of Amziah King.
“I think more people came up to me with the IMAX re-release than after the release ten years ago,” McConaughey stated of the increase in attendance over the past year.
“People now say, ‘Interstellar, that’s my movie,'” he continued. My life was altered by it. This is the reason. “How many times have you seen it?” I ask. Four, most of them say.
“That one sure as hell has legs,” the True Detective star continued.
