According to a computerized tracker on Reform’s website, the party’s membership has surpassed the 131,680 that the Conservatives announced earlier this year.
Nigel Farage remarked that reform is now the “real opposition” and thanked everyone who helped his party “make history.”.
A spokesman for the Conservative party said that Reform UK had contributed to the formation of a Labour government.
In response to the increasing number of votes on X, Farage declared: “The youngest political party in British politics has just overtaken the oldest political party in the world.”
Reform has ended the “century-long stranglehold on the center-right of British politics by the Tories,” according to party chairman Zia Yusuf.
