Samina Baig, a well-known young mountaineer from Pakistan, was flown specially from Skardu to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi. On July 7, the Pakistan Army helped rescue her when she experienced health issues while on a global climbing expedition.
At CMH Rawalpindi, Baig is presently receiving intensive treatment, and a group of physicians and paramedics from the Pakistan Army are closely observing her condition. Her status is reportedly steady at this point and improving gradually.
According to the Pakistan Army, Baig is a national asset, and they are still dedicated to helping the people and their heroes in the future.
