Ahmed Almazrouei, an Emirati businessman who switched to electric vehicles in 2020, said he was excited about the cutting-edge technology and its advantages for the environment. I used to drive a gasoline-powered vehicle before switching, but the allure of a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly alternative pulled me in.
Significant benefits were the ease of home charging and reduced maintenance expenses, he said.
