As the haze and air quality conditions in Lahore and other Punjabi cities improve, the government of Punjab declared on Thursday that outdoor activities would resume.
The announcement states that starting on November 22, Punjab will be able to host outdoor events and destinations, such as parks, both public and private, historical sites, monuments, museums, athletic events, play areas, exhibitions, and festivals.
According to the warning, the aforementioned locations are only permitted to stay open and operational until 8 p.m.
However, the government has asked individuals to follow certain guidelines, including as wearing masks in public places, forbidding “strenuous exercise” for those 65 and older.
