Sher Afzal Marwat, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), criticized Fawad Chaudary, a former federal minister, claiming he had no authority to criticize the party’s present leadership.
“I saw Fawad Chaudhary running like an elephant after seeing police outside the Islamabad High Court,” the PTI lawmaker stated in a statement to the media.
He went on to say that PTI should not provide advise to anyone because his hasty departure caused him to cower in embarrassment.
When questioned about Fawad’s remark that the present PTI leadership is a “failure,” Marwat responded that at least “we stuck by Imran Khan in hard times and did not run away like him,” regardless of how big of a failure our leadership is.
