ISLAMABAD/LONDON: President Donald Trump’s advisor Richard Grenell “may have been misled” about his support for the release of Imran Khan’s campaign by a U.S. lobby, according to a Texas hedge fund manager and close Trump family associate.
Gentry Beach, who is currently leading a business group in Islamabad, stated that he believes Grenell has a deeper comprehension of the complex problems that Pakistanis face, which may be why he has ceased tweeting in favor of the PTI.
Grenell, a strong ally of President Trump, has removed dozens of his pro-Imran tweets, but two are still visible on his account.
