Even if the Academy doesn’t award Rob Lowe an Oscar, he knows how to win one.
Lowe, who is rearing five puppies—Owen, Olive, Daisy, Bella, and Oscar—explained in a recent interview why he named the latter after the esteemed honor.
According to Lowe, who has worked with Ultimate Pet Nutrition, “I wanted to make sure that at some point in my life, I got an Oscar, so I have one,” he said in an interview with People.
In reference to himself and his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, the 60-year-old actor stated, “We definitely look at each other every day and go, ‘How did we end up with so many dogs?'” He acknowledged that being a dog dad to five puppies is difficult.
