Robert Pattinson is still most known for his breakthrough performance as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, even if his varied career includes parts in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse, and the DC franchise as Batman.
In a recent interview with New York, Pattinson described a humorous interaction he had with a fan at an airport who appeared to be ignorant of his Twilight career.
One fan commented, “Hey, you’re the guy from Twilight,” in reference to this. Why did you quit performing? and Pattinson laughed and said, “I’m Batman.”
Pattinson and Kristen Stewart played Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, respectively, in the popular five-film series based on Stephanie Meyer’s books, which ended with Breaking Dawn, Part 2 in 2012, according to Deadline.
