There is still question about Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma’s participation in the captains’ event prior to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.
All eight competing team captains are expected to attend the event, which is likely set for February 16 or 17 in Karachi. However, it is yet unclear if Sharma will be there.
A cricket website claims that the issue has not yet been resolved by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
There have been no talks over Sharma’s trip to Pakistan, according to BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia. Saikia went on to say that this issue is not on the agenda at the moment, but it is unclear if his visit would need permission from the administration.
