Royal scholar and vocal opponent of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Angela Levin, responded to rumors that King Charles might abdicate in ten years.
According to a former butler for Princess Diana, King Charles was preparing for his “abdication,” transferring the crown to his older son Prince William once the monarch recovers from surgery in ten years.
Paul Burrell had declared, “I think it will happen in this country,” in an interview with the New York Post. This task has been assigned ten years by the king and queen, thus I believe this is a ten-year plan.
Paul continued by stating that King Charles is “buying time” by implementing a “10-year plan” that will ultimately result in his “abdication.”
Paul’s comments on X, the previous Twitter handle, were posted by a royal historian. The caption said, “King Charles, 75, will ‘abdicate’ to make way for Prince William, 41, within next decade,” and it was filled with many emoticons.
