ISLAMABAD: Russia and Pakistan decided on Tuesday to increase their counterterrorism communication.
According to a Ministry of Interior release, the agreement was made during a meeting between Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khorev and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad.
Bilateral connections and topics of shared interest were thoroughly examined at the conference. In order to improve relations, they also decided to expand the number of delegations that exchanged.
The ministry said that both parties also agreed to strengthen their collaboration in the two nations’ anti-narcotics and counter-terrorism initiatives.
Pakistani authorities were invited by the Russian envoy to take part in anti-drug training courses in Siberia and Moscow.
