By permitting Kyiv to employ long-range missiles provided by Washington to hit targets within Russia, US President Joe Biden has come under fire from the Kremlin for allegedly intensifying the conflict in Ukraine.
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, stated on Monday that the United States would be actively involved in the battle if it permitted Ukraine to launch American missiles far into Russia.
Peskov added that President Vladimir Putin had made Russia’s stance clear in September, saying, “If such a decision was indeed formulated and brought to the Kyiv regime, then this is a qualitatively new round of tension and a qualitatively new situation from the point of view of US involvement in this conflict.”
