The 51-year-old’s sole position in the sport, despite his accomplishments, is that of director of football at Salford City, a League Two team he co-owns with his friends and former Manchester United teammates, eighteen months after domestic violence accusations against him were withdrawn.
Giggs, who consistently rejected the claims, was reportedly committed to reviving his managing career after being officially found not guilty after his ex-girlfriend refused to testify in a retrial.
However, even the Premier League has yet to include him in its Hall of Fame.
