Sabrina Carpenter has revealed that her personal experiences served as the inspiration for the album’s title.
The Please Please Please singer opened up about her previous painful relationship in an interview with Variety.
The singer started out by stating, “That was my first time really, really getting to sit and steer the whole thing,”
“My biggest heartbreak to date,” she added, referring to her breakup-inspired fifth album, Emails I Can’t Send. My first actual one.
In the past, Carpenter dated Shawn Mendes in 2023, Joshua Bassett in 2022, Bradley Steven Perry from 2014 to 2015, and Barry Keoghan from December 2023 to December 2024.
