CHRISTCHURCH: Ahead of Sunday’s series opener against New Zealand, Pakistan’s T20 International (T20I) skipper, Salman Ali Agha, seemed ready for redemption.
The 31-year-old all-rounder expressed confidence in the team’s performance and outlined its strengths during a pre-series press conference.
“Our fans are disappointed because we didn’t live up to their expectations or our own standards. However, that doesn’t imply that our new squad isn’t a strong one.
“There are experienced players in the squad as well, and we believe we have a strong combination to play good cricket and win,” Salman said.
