KARACHI: At 6,961 meters (22,837 feet), Mount Aconcagua is the tallest peak in South America. Pakistani explorer Samar Khan successfully climbed it.
On Instagram, Khan claimed that she began her ascent at 4:15 a.m. with a remarkable group of nine powerful women and arrived at the top of South America’s highest peak at 2 p.m.
“The climb was full of challenges, with one of the biggest being the extreme cold and harsh winds of the Andes,” Khan stated. “However, with Allah’s grace and your prayers, I successfully completed the climb.”
