After being re-released, the 2016 romance drama “Sanam Teri Kasam,” starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, has made an astonishing and remarkable return to the domestic box office. The movie, which was first released nine years ago, had a rough run but is currently seeing a noticeable comeback.
“Sanam Teri Kasam,” which was released on February 7 shortly before Valentine’s week, had little publicity but swiftly became an unexpected hit.
The movie had the greatest opening for a Bollywood re-release ever, with an estimated net gross of 15.50 Indian crore rupees throughout its first weekend.
The movie made over 3.25 crore rupees net in India on Monday, its fourth day, which was more than anticipated.
