Hamas has said that Israel is dodging calls for a ceasefire while demonstrating the flexibility required to achieve a truce that ends Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
According to Al Jazeera, these demands include a lasting ceasefire, the return of displaced Palestinians to their homes, the removal of Israeli troops from Gaza, and the introduction of humanitarian aid.
“We will continue to negotiate through our brotherly mediators to reach an agreement that fulfils the demands and interests of our people,” the group stated in a statement.
