ISLAMABAD: The six judges of the Islamabad High Court wrote a letter alleging that espionage agencies were interfering with the judiciary. The Supreme Court judges met in full on Wednesday in the federal capital to discuss the letter, according to sources who spoke with Geo News.
The meeting, which took place in the nation’s capital and lasted more than two hours, was attended by judges from the Supreme Court of Pakistan, including Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
This happened as a result of requests for an investigation into the letter made by bar associations and legal experts.
According to the sources, Mansoor Usman Awan, the Attorney General for Pakistan (AGP), met with the CJP and deliberated on the issue.
