The legal ramifications of Raquel Leviss’s lawsuit against Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix for invasion of privacy and their counterreactions to it indicate that the dispute is far from resolved.
The Florida native responded to allegations that he had shared the 29-year-old private footage by filing an anti-SLAPP, or Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation, suit that would have limited the TV personality to publicly defaming the reality star.
In addition, Ariana stated that she found Raquel’s sultry pictures on her former phone and chose not to disclose them.
While all of this was going on, Tom was covertly dating her ex-partner and was preparing his defense with a demurrer to her claim.
It is a challenge to “the sufficiency or adequacy of pleadings of another party,” according to Cornell University’s Legal Information Institute, and the case may be set aside.
