Mauritania’s academic institutions, researchers, and students are the target audience for a new research fellowship program announced by the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH).
The purpose of this initiative is to improve Pakistan-Mauritania relations while also enhancing scientific capacity.
These research fellowships are a component of the collaborative Science and Technology Capacity Building Program, which was started in cooperation with the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation of Mauritania, according to an official source.
Young researchers and early-stage scientists in Mauritania will get the chance to spend six months at centers of excellence in OIC member states, especially in Pakistan, as part of the COMSTECH-Mauritania Program.
The purpose of these fellowships is to support early career connections for ongoing collaboration while enhancing the research and development capabilities of Mauritanian researchers.
