Wisconsin and started shooting, killing a student and a teacher and injuring a number of others. Days before the school was scheduled to reopen for Christmas, the close-knit Christian community was plunged into despair.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes revealed during a press conference on Monday that two individuals were killed and six others were hurt, including two teenagers who were critically injured and in danger of dying. Two other pupils and a teacher were injured, but not seriously.
According to Barnes, authorities named the shooter as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, also known as “Samantha.” Police confirmed she was declared dead on the way to the hospital and claimed evidence points to the shooter’s self-inflicted gunshot wound.
