Before the Council of Heads of Government (CHG) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) convenes in Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi authorized a detailed strategy to provide flawless security for the upcoming summit of regional leaders.
The approval was granted during a high-level discussion about the upcoming regional leaders’ conference, which is set for October 15–16, at the Ministry of Interior and was presided over by Naqvi.
Top officials attended the meeting, including the Pakistan Rangers sector commander, the federal secretary of interior, additional secretaries, the chief commissioner of Islamabad, the inspector general of the Islamabad police, the deputy commissioner of Islamabad, the deputy commandant of the Frontier Corps (FC), and representatives from security agencies.
The meeting covered the security arrangements for the SCO Summit in great depth, and a thorough plan was established to provide unbeatable protection.
