ISLAMABAD: Despite a three-day public holiday that was recently declared by the federal government in advance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, authorities indicated on Thursday that the institutions holding the Cambridge O and A level examinations will remain open.
The examinations that are slated to take place between October 14 and 16, 2024, will all go according to plan, according to a post made on Thursday by Irfan Nawaz, the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, on his official X account.
“Every exam center in Islamabad will stay open,” he continued in his social media post.
The declaration of October 14–16 holidays for educational institutions was made by the government as part of Pakistan’s efforts to make sure the high-level summit runs smoothly.
