Under section 144, all protests, processions, rallies, and meetings are prohibited for the next two days, Friday and Saturday, by the Karachi commissioner.
In this regard, a notification has been released by the Karachi authorities.
The Karachi Commissioner’s notification states that on October 18 and 19, all forms of protests, processions, rallies, and gatherings are prohibited.
It is forbidden for groups of more than five people to get together. The Additional IG Karachi requested that the notification be sent out, and it was.
The Karachi police would be able to prosecute the offenders following the notification.
