The Ministry of Interior stated that a female suicide bomber hit a paramilitary force convoy in the Kalat district of Balochistan, killing at least one security forces man and injuring four others.
“A female suicide bomber targeted an FC convoy in Kalat district, killing at least one FC soldier and injuring four others,” senior administration official Bilal Shabbir told AFP.
A local police spokesman, Habib Babai, also gave AFP confirmation of the toll.
The attack has not been claimed by any group.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the suicide attack on the FC convoy and paid homage to the martyred personnel, Attaullah. The minister also extended condolences to the family of the martyred soldier.
