PML-N in Lahore According to The News on Monday, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has counseled party chieftain Nawaz Sharif to run for president instead of prime minister because he feels that under the existing “hybrid plus” system, Sharif would not be a good fit for the position.

The PML-N senator stated, “Given the ground realities and the person of Mian Sahib, and for country’s sake, I would advise him to leave the game for Prime Minister Office,” in an interview with a private news channel.

“What would happen if he wins the presidency four times? Will he receive an Olympic medal or have his name added to the Guinness World Records? He shouldn’t have to deal with being kicked out of the premier’s office once more.instead,

, he ought to be the head of state, which translates to the highest military commander. He, his party, the nation, and democracy would all benefit from this.

The senator informed the host that during the previous six years, the nation had six prime ministers, three of whom had served jail terms.

Mushahid suggested to Nawaz that the prime minister position should go to another party member.

Since he believes that no candidate would be able to win a simple majority in the elections on February 8th, he continued, “Rather, I would say there should be a national government.”

“Some things are obvious,” Mushahid responded when asked if “the mother of all deals,” as he had described it, was in operation. When you bring them inside,

“Now such a big gap between the elite and the street can’t sustain anymore,” the senator stated. It will require bridging.

“The’mother of all deals’ implies that everyone would have to go along,” he declared. The PTI, PPP, and MLMN are all national parties. I’m referring to the party. Everybody has a base. None of us would want to open too many fronts under the current circumstances.

“The PTI can’t be bypassed or ignored,” stated Mushahid. “The PTI is in KP which borders Afghanistan, with whose government ties are sour.” In national politics, the interest of the nation is also considered. Political parties maintain national cohesion, which explains why.

The senator is of the opinion that all parties will benefit. He brought up the treatment of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam upon their return in July at the airport. According to the senator, “they have been accepted because of this acceptance (of the situation)” since everyone has made concessions and accepted the new circumstances.

He continued, “All polling parties have acknowledged the domains in which they will operate.”
