ISLAMABAD: Waheed Murad, a senior journalist, was reportedly kidnapped early on Wednesday morning from his Islamabad house.
He was taken away in a black “dala” by masked guys in black clothes who broke into the house at around two in the morning, according to his wife.
Murad’s wife told News that the men who knocked on the door accused her husband of being Afghan. They forcibly entered after Murad refuted the allegation and hid his identity card beneath the door as evidence. After seizing Murad’s and her mother’s phones, the men in black uniforms took him away in a black car, she continued.
