BANNU: District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin told Geo News on Monday that seven police officers had been kidnapped by unidentified armed individuals from the Ahmedzai subdivision in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to the DPO, the armed individuals took over the Rocha checkpoint and abducted the police officers.
After cordoning off the area, Ziauddin stated, a search operation has been initiated to find the kidnappers.
According to DPO Ziauddin, the police officers were taken prisoner by a group of armed men at a checkpoint following Maghrib prayer. The officers and their guns were then moved to an undisclosed location.
