According to a CTD spokeswoman, Punjab CTD detained seven terrorists and carried out 129 intelligence-based operations (IBO) in different places throughout the province.
In Lahore, Bhakkar, Attock, Vehari, Bahawalpur, and Jhang, the operations were conducted.
Fitna-Al Khawarij’s two most wanted terrorists were apprehended in Lahore and Bhakkar along with guns and explosives.
The terrorists were found in possession of explosive material, nine detonators, a nine-foot protective fuse wire, bullets, guns, two IED bombs, cell phones, prohibited leaflets, and cash.
Hayatullah, Sheen Khan, Muhammad Saddique, Zahoor Ahmed, Akram Khan, and Mubashar Khan have all been named as terrorists.
Through their acts of terrorism, terrorists sought to instill chaos and dread in the public.
According to officials, 2943 combing operations this week resulted in the arrest of about 257 people.
