Rawalpindi: The military’s media wing reported on Friday that security forces had killed seven terrorists in separate operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), four terrorists were slain during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in District Bannu, KP.
In addition to the terrorists, or “khwarij,” who were slain in the early hours of Friday, two other people were injured in the operation.
According to the ISPR, the terrorists continued to engage in a number of terrorist attacks on security forces and the targeted murder of defenseless civilians, despite the forces recovering weapons, ammo, and explosives from them.
“The sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other Khwarij found in the area,” the military’s media wing added.
