Two security guards for Shahzain Mari, a well-known politician in Balochistan, have reportedly been arrested by police for allegedly assaulting two individuals in the Boat Basin neighborhood of Karachi.
After a CCTV video of the event went viral on social media, where many users denounced the harassment and called for justice, they were taken into custody.
The DIG South claims that Shahzain Mari, the primary suspect, has escaped to Balochistan.
They have asserted that they have found contemporary guns among the accused. It was reported that the incident happened at approximately 3 a.m. on February 19. A case has been filed.
