Even though Pakistan lost their test series in South Africa 2-0, skipper Shan Masood saw enough of his team to think that brighter times are coming since they persevered for extended periods of time under trying circumstances.
Prior to a more thorough 10-wicket victory in Cape Town on Monday, South Africa won the first test in Pretoria by two wickets after being reduced to 99-8 chasing 148 on a challenging surface.
However, Pakistan demonstrated resilience even in their most recent loss, scoring 478 runs in their second innings, led by Masood’s 145.
Masood stated, “There were lots of good things (in the series),” “Being aware that we performed admirably in Pretoria but failed to complete it. We didn’t get off to a good start even here.
