DUBAI: Ahead of the pivotal ICC Champions Trophy match against India, skipper of the Bangladesh cricket team Najmul Hossain Shanto has spoken of confidence and resolve.
According to him, any team may win in these competitions, and Bangladesh is prepared to take on the challenge.
“Any team can win in a tournament like the ICC Champions Trophy because even favorites can have a bad day,” Shanto stated during a news conference at Dubai Cricket Stadium.
He emphasized that in order to win, the squad would start fresh players and rely on strategy and hard effort.
Shanto went on to say that the team as a whole feels inspired and confident in their ability to defeat India.
