At a groundbreaking ceremony for Qaddafi Stadium’s renovation, Prime Minister Sharif gave PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi instructions to restructure the cricket team and make sure that decisions are made only on the basis of merit.
He emphasized that talent should take precedence over favoritism and said that a restructure of the squad based on merit would be a noteworthy accomplishment.
He emphasized that if a recommendation goes against merit, it should be disregarded, even if it came from him.
The actions being taken to modernize Qaddafi Stadium have been praised by Prime Minister Sharif.
He expressed his gratitude to Mohsin Naqvi for taking on this project and acknowledged his prior accomplishments as Punjab’s caretaker chief minister, expressing the hope that he will also successfully finish this one.
