Shehroze Kashif, a 22-year-old mountaineer from Pakistan, has broken the previous record by becoming the country’s youngest climber to summit all 14 summits over 8,000 meters. Today, Kashif reached the 8,027-meter top of Shishapangma, achieving this amazing feat.
Kashif, often known as the “Broad Boy,” cemented his reputation as a climbing legend by reaching the summit early this morning. He follows in the footsteps of Sirbaz Khan, who recently became the first Pakistani to scale all 14 eight-thousanders after summiting Shishapangma, to becoming the second person from Pakistan to achieve this incredible feat.
Kashif declared on his Facebook page that he had successfully reached the top of the 8027-meter mountain at 3:30 in the morning, “completing his extraordinary journey of summiting all 14 of the world’s 8000m peaks.”
