PESHAWAR: Sher Afzal Marwat, a member of the National Assembly (MNA) for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), made fun of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration on Saturday for failing to notice the party’s founding chairman, Imran Khan, who is currently in jail.
For more than a year, Imran has been detained at the Adiala Prison in Rawalpindi.
Speaking passionately at a PTI activist gathering in Peshawar, Marwat accused the party’s officials of abandoning the founder when he needed assistance.
He expressed his dismay that the PTI officials were squabbling over party positions and ministries, claiming that party internal strife and individual ambitions had overshadowed allegiance to the imprisoned former prime minister.
