The court notice claims that on March 11, 2025, Marwat made false accusations on two TV talk shows that Jhagra had embezzled Rs36 billion from the pension fund. The letter makes clear that Jhagra was also charged by Marwat with using illegal funds to buy pricey houses in Islamabad and Hayatabad.
According to Advocate Ali Gohar Durrani, Jhagra’s attorney, these accusations are unfounded, malicious, and defamatory, and their only goal is to harm Jhagra’s reputation in the community and in the workplace.
