Following a fight between the two outside Adiala jail earlier today, Fawad Chaudhry claimed to have buried the hatchet at the orders of PTI founder Imran Khan. Barrister Shoaib Shaheen, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has denied making peace with Chaudhry.
At Gate No. 5 of Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail, Chaudhry and Shaheen got into a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical battle when the former federal minister slapped the PTI lawyer, knocking him to the ground and hurting his arm.
Chaudhry had called Shaheen a “tout,” according to sources who spoke to Geo News, and Shaheen had responded by urging Chaudhry to shut up.
Following the altercation, Chaudhry told reporters that Shaheen had labeled him a “deserter” on television.
