A sizable gas resource has been found in Sindh’s Khairpur area.
The newly tapped wells in the Savon South Block are anticipated to produce an astounding one crore standard cubic feet of gas per day.
The discovery was disclosed by the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in a letter to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
At a time when energy demand is increasing, the letter emphasized how this discovery might strengthen the nation’s gas supplies and improve energy security.
According to the letter from OGDCL, both federal and Sindh firms have a 2.5% ownership stake in this business.
