She emphasized official measures to enhance the health sector, stating that as part of the World Bank-backed 1000-Days Integrated Health and Population Project, the government would modernize all health facilities, including primary units.
The Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital in Karachi, the province’s second-largest tertiary care government hospital after Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center, is set to be upgraded, according to a master plan we have devised, the spokesperson stated.
