KARACHI: Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s Sindh Apex Committee has resolved to implement a two-pronged strategy to combat the growing threat of street crimes and citizen kidnappings by katcha (riverine area) dacoits for ransom.
It has been agreed to implement additional steps for monitoring the sale of stolen or nicked mobile phones and automobiles as spare parts or in their entirety in Karachi’s markets, according to a statement released by the CM House on Monday.
The provincial chief executive then gave the police department instructions to revive the Shaheen Force and restructure Madadgar-15.
