A lady accused of tricking people into marriage traps as part of an abduction scheme has been arrested by Sindhi authorities.
While working with a bunch of dacoits in the Katcha area, Tania Rano—who is purportedly married to a member of the gang by the name of Badeel Shar—was taken into custody.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aneel Haider said that Tania’s job was to use video chats to lure victims into meeting her under the guise of a marriage proposal.
She would take the victims to the gang’s hideouts in Ghotki and Kashmore once they had been tricked into going.
According to the authorities, Tania got a SIM card from the gang through a courier service to help with their operations.
